Emblem

It is with very heavy hearts that we gather today to remember and celebrate the Tukios work-life of JC Hoye, who is about to leave us. JC has been a very valued member of the Tukios support team, and production team, where he created raving fans of our customers and made many memories with his colleagues.

One such memory was when he rode his scooter through a towering wall of DVD boxes at breakneck speeds, leaving everyone in awe. Another would be when he showed off his dancing skills while producing Bookshelf Boxes alone in the production room. More recently, he surprised all of us with his ability to act and lip sync to a Liam Neeson voiceover.

He also had a love and hate for video games, where he could be found holding a sniper rifle right before meeting his demise and then proceeding to absolutely destroy his computer mouse in frustration.

JC is an accomplished individual, being so close to finishing his Master's degree. But most importantly, JC is remembered for his infectious personality. He always had a smile on his face, making everyone feel welcome with his kindness and witty sense of humor. He took great pride in his Maori heritage which makes him all the more special.

Although we mourn the loss of JC, we must remember that he is happiest when spending time with his wife Katie and their beloved boys Henry and Elliott.

JC was preceded in Tukios retirement-death by many friends who loved him, including D2, The Mawb, Tony Collucci and JoeMan among others. His spirit will carry on through those who survived him like Allie, Kayden, Chance, Connor (both of them), Sara, Kayley, Garrett and Coulter.

We are finally losing JC to what he loves most—helping others. Let us take comfort knowing that he is resting easy now after a fulfilled life as a "Difference Maker" at Tukios.
