Charles "Charlie" Caldwell, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on January 21, 2909, in Orange City, Florida, at the age of 124. Born on December 3, 1984, in San Jose, California, Charlie lived a life full of remarkable achievements and cherished relationships.
Charlie earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from XYZ University, where he was honored with the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in 2010. His professional endeavors included a dedicated 15-year career as a marketing manager for XYZ Corporation, where he oversaw several successful product launches. His work earned him the prestigious Marketing Achievement Award in 2015, a testament to his commitment and skill in the field.
In addition to his impressive career, Charlie served his country valiantly in the United States Army for 20 years, achieving the rank of Colonel. He was decorated for his bravery during the Gulf War, receiving both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, reflecting his dedication and courage in the face of adversity.
Beyond his accomplishments, Charlie will be remembered for his kind and welcoming personality. He had an innate ability to make others feel at ease and was known for his great sense of humor, which endeared him to many.
Charlie is survived by his sister, Sarah Johnson, and brother-in-law, Tom Johnson, as well as close friend, Rachel Lee. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Smith; father, John Smith Sr.; and brother, James Smith.
A memorial service in Charlie’s honor will be held on January 29, 2025, at Tukios, located at 2326 E Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT, starting at 9:00 AM. Following the service, a visitation will be available on February 27, 2025, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Charlie Caldwell’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his warmth, humor, and unwavering spirit. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
